Hold onto your hats, everyone, because the latest episode of the Inside Trader Joe’s podcast is about to blow your mind. This episode is all about BEER. After a super-informative chat about the expansive world history of beer, hosts Matt Sloan and Tara Miller were joined in conversation with Product Developer Catherine Rhodes, who works on many of TJ’s offerings, including beer.

Tucked into the middle of the episode, the trio teased four upcoming adult beverages coming out this fall — and they sound too good to be true. Here are the upcoming brews to keep an eye out for.

1. Cookie Butter Beer

According to the TJ’s team, this particular beer (dessert? Dessert beer?) has been years in the making. “Trader Joe’s is cookie butter headquarters, so we couldn’t have an okay Cookie Butter Beer. It had to taste just as good as what’s in the jar,” says Rhodes. After 18 different iterations, they finally landed on the perfect formula.

While certainly not the kind of beer you pull out of the fridge when you’re looking for an ice-cold refreshment, the launch is timed for the fall (September, to be exact) and is meant to be an after-dinner drink. “I would have it as an after-dinner dessert beer and you could pair it with anything with cookie butter on top of it,” Rhodes suggests.

2. Coffee Peanut Butter Cup Porter

This candy-inspired porter is making its way to Trader Joe’s shelves near you just in time for Halloween. From the sounds of it, this beer is kind of an adult trick-or-treat. It’s brewed with peanut butter powder and also has notes of chocolate and coffee. You can bet we’ll be pairing this porter with TJ’s perfect peanut butter cups, because duh.

3. Ginger Beard Spiced Stout

The team didn’t have much to reveal about this one, other than the fact that it was inspired by the success of last year’s seasonal favorite: Howling Gourd Pumpkin Ale (which will be back this fall as well — don’t worry). Bring on all the seasonal beer! Especially if they’re punny!

4. Toasty Cookie Spice Cider

Lastly, the team teased an upcoming cider made with 100% fermented apple juice (not from concentrate). It has hints of warm winter spices including cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and clove. Is it time for fall yet?
