13 New Trader Joe’s Items That Just Hit Stores
Alright, team, here’s the situation: Trader Joe’s has released a whole slew of new products over the past two months and we have to work together to figure out if they’re worthy of our undying love and affection. We spotted all of these new items on @TraderJoesList, a popular fan account, and have added them to our hypothetical shopping list to pick up once we’re able to resume our regular Trader Joe’s visits again. In the meantime, we’re using this new grocery delivery service to help us get our TJ’s fix…
Here are 13 new groceries to hit Trader Joe’s shelves. Have you tried any of them? If so, please weigh in with your honest feedback in the comments below!
1. Organic Ghee & Sunflower Oil Spray
Add a new cooking oil to your repertoire with this Organic Ghee & Sunflower Oil Spray. Not only is this spray bottle a whole lot easier to control than accidentally pouring way too much liquid out of a bottle, but the yellow color will also brighten up your pantry shelves.
2. Protein Muffin Cups
Something tells us that lots of people are going to add these just-add-water microwavable muffins to their morning routines. Eagle-eye fans have placed their guesses that these gluten-free protein muffins (that come in maple and dark chocolate flavors) are dupes for similar versions from Kodiak Cakes.
3. Spicy Cashew Butter Dressing
Keep your eyes peeled for this Spicy Cashew Butter salad dressing made with cashew butter, lime juice, ginger, cilantro, and red chiles. We’re most curious about which one of their salad kits it would be best with.
4. Peppermint and Tea Tree Shampoo Bar
If you’re interested in reducing wasteful packaging, a shampoo bar might be the right move for you. Instead of a bottle, this peppermint and tea tree-oil infused shampoo comes in bar form, like old-school soap.
5. Everything But the Gluten Crackers
Taking a cue from the naming convention of their ever-popular Everything But the Bagel Seasoning, Trader Joe’s is proudly introducing Everything But the Gluten Crackers. Apparently these are their Norwegian Crispbreads in cracker form.
6. Unsweetened Non-Dairy Hemp Beverage
Whether we think TJ’s needed another milk alternative in the dairy aisle or not, this non-dairy hemp beverage has piqued our interest. Time to shake up our smoothies, perhaps?
7. Sparkling Black Tea with Peach Juice
Fans of TJ’s fruit juice-infused seltzers will probably also love these sparkling black teas infused with peach juice. This could be the refreshing afternoon pick-me-up we’ve all been looking for!
8. Walnut Pesto with Parmesan Cheese
Trader Joe’s is certainly not lacking in their prepared dips and sauces department, but this new Walnut Pesto with Parmesan Cheese is a more than welcome addition. Note: Although it’s called “pesto,” this nutty sauce doesn’t contain any basil!
9. Hatch Chile Cheddar Seasoned Popcorn
It’s officially Hatch Green Chile season, which means TJ’s has released a limited-edition Hatch Chile Cheddar popcorn. Chances are, this will sell out quickly!
10. Romesco Dip
We haven’t tried this zesty roasted red pepper sauce, but we’re already imagining all the uses for it. Crudités, pasta, bread, chips — the possibilities are endless.
11. Creamy Cauliflower Jalapeño Dip
Would you look at that? Another dip! This creamy concoction (that is extremely NOT vegan or dairy-free, FYI) makes it clear that the cauliflower trend is here to stay.
12. Almond Macadamia Cold Brew Latte
Trader Joe’s wants to make your morning caffeine fix as easy and as inventive as possible — which is something we appreciate now that morning coffee runs are few and far between. The cold brew is mixed with almond and macadamia nut beverages for a creamy and smooth finish (we hear).
13. Sea Salted Saddle Potato Crisps
Remember when the hosts of the Inside Trader Joe’s podcast hinted at the release of these Saddle Potato Crisps? Well, here they are! And our suspicions were correct: They look a lot like Pringles.
