A Trader Joe’s might be opening in your town. If you love the Japanese Soufflé Cheesecake, the Strawberries & Creme Pancake and Waffle Mix, and the frozen Papas Rellenas, but don’t live close enough to a Trader Joe’s to get your hands on any of these delicious products, then you’ll be stoked to find out that Trader Joe’s could be opening up a store closer to your home.

In a leaked document that was shared online (which was then confirmed by a Trader Joe’s spokesperson) the popular grocery chain plans on opening 24 new stores across the United States. The leaked document came from a “confidential internal document” with a map that points out all of the different places a new location will be opening. States that have the new Trader Joe’s locations opening up include Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Texas, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, Idaho, Oregon, and California.

While there is no news on how long it will take for these stores to officially be up and running, shoppers are ecstatic about the news of a local Trader Joe’s opening up near their homes.

“We’ve been needing one here for years,” comments a shopper in Chandler, Arizona. “So glad we’ll finally have one close.”

Currently Trader Joe’s has 590 different locations across the country, with the most locations in California; more than 200 stores, according to SFGate. However, no Trader Joe’s locations exist in Alaska, Hawaii, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, West Virginia, or Wyoming. Will Trader Joe’s finally bring its beloved grocery chain to one of these states after all of this work to expand? We’ll just have to wait and see what the store has planned next.
