Is Trader Joe’s Open on Labor Day 2024?
Summer is sadly coming to a close, and you just may be planning to end it with a celebration this Labor Day weekend. Whether you’re packing up sandwiches and snacks for a day at the beach or heading on a weekend getaway and need something to munch on while you’re on the road, Trader Joe’s has you covered.
The store is constantly coming out with new and delicious finds, like these mocha latte pretzels that our editors can’t get enough of. But if you happen to run out of snacks or need to re-up on beverages on Labor Day, will you be able to count on Trader Joe’s for those day-of needs?
Yes, Trader Joe’s will be open on Labor Day with its regular store hours of 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can always call your local store to double check, though.
Pick up some new August items while you’re there, like apple cider donuts and turkey chili with beans. All you need is some cornbread and you’ve got dinner and dessert sorted. You could also try this hack of popping those apple cider donuts in the air fryer and crumbling some up over French vanilla ice cream (also from Trader Joe’s).
Or pick up a jar of another one of their newest finds: green tea yuzu spread. Our Associate Groceries Editor, Ali Domrongchai, is a huge fan and is planning on making a glaze with it to smear on top of grilled chicken.
If you need a last-minute alcohol top-up, you can count on Trader Joe’s to come through with this crisp and refreshing California Chardonnay at just $7 a bottle. But if you don’t want to take our word for it, let us let you in on a little secret: Did you know that you can ask to try items before you buy them with Trader Joe’s “Try Before You Buy” policy? (Thank us later.)
And if you’ve been curious to know what the bells mean and why you keep hearing them while shopping, we’ve got the answer here.
