Trader Joe’s Is Now Selling Chocolate Lava Gnocchi and I’m Totally Freaking Out

If you’re a fan of Trader Joe’s legendary cauliflower gnocchi, then get ready for their new gnocchi flavor that’ll rival your go-to pasta dish: TJ’s now has a chocolate molten lava cake gnocchi. Just imagine sitting down to your own personal warm, gooey chocolate soufflé at home on a freezing, wintery night. JUST IMAGINE.

Spotted on Instagram account @thesnacksoflife, at a Trader’s Joes in Irvine, CA, the gnocchi’s got fans going wild. Everyone is dying to spot it in their stores at home and get their hands on a box. 

Molten lava cake is my FAVORITE dessert in the world, so I am BEYOND excited to try this awesome gnocchi out. Each one-cup serving has 300 calories and there’s a molten chocolate core in each piece of gnocchi, along with some hazelnut notes.

Basically you can whip up this gnocchi for dessert or a meal — there are no rules that dinner has to be savory. Or have it for a fun boozy Sunday brunch with friends. Imagine pairing the gnocchi with a mimosa or Irish coffee. Plus, it’s just a fun way to shake up plain ol’ pasta. It’s also a good dish for the holidays, as chocolate pairs well with so many festive foods, like peppermint, gingerbread, pumpkin, and more. You can bring this to any Friendsgiving party for an easy dessert, too. 

And you can add more flavor to them by topping with sprinkled peanuts or almonds, some whipped cream or marshmallow fluff, or some nut butter and banana slices.

Of course, this is going to be SUPER popular in stores, so if you see one, grab it ASAP.
