If you’re a frequent shopper at Trader Joe’s, then you’ve likely found a handful of tried-and-tested products that you never veer away from purchasing. Between the $10 French rosé, dozens of delicious frozen foods, and countless other can’t-miss brand-new groceries, Trader Joe’s has garnered a cult-like following in stores and online. And while the latest product to gain heavy online attention just might surprise you, it is definitely worth checking out.

Over on Reddit, an unassuming frozen product is getting a lot of attention lately: Trader Joe’s Fresh Harvest Petite Peas. Yes, peas. Passionate Reddit users are calling them “the best frozen peas ever.”  Why, you ask? When pressed on what sets these particular peas apart from other frozen pea brands, the original poster commented, “The flavor is really fresh and they aren’t gritty like a lot of peas. They sell petite/baby ones at most grocery stores, but these have the best flavor that I’ve found.”

All it takes is some light digging into the comment section to see just how glowing all of the reviews are on what seems to be a very basic offering. “My oldest kid agrees — he’s been eating them frozen straight from the freezer since he was a toddler 😅,” said one commenter. Another person adds, “Yes!! These are way better than normal peas. They’re sweet and tender.”

The intrigue is growing for those shoppers who haven’t tried them yet: “I have never given these a second glance, but all these glowing reviews are making me want to try them! I do love a convenient frozen veggie.”

While the beloved Trader Joe’s frozen peas have recently gotten tons of attention online, it doesn’t seem like this is a limited-time-only product. So take a read through the almost 100 commenters, then pick up a bag on your next grocery run. You just might want to toss them in a garlic butter pasta for dinner tonight.
