If you’re looking for a quick and easy route to spruce up your salads, you may want to take a trip to Trader Joe’s. The grocery store keeps its shelves stocked with tons of dressing options, like Hot Honey Mustard Dressing, Vegan Creamy Dill Dressing, and Toasted Sesame Dressing, so you’ll never grow bored of eating your veggies. And most recently, the brand rolled out a new salad dressing that people on social media can’t stop raving about. The best part? It’s only $2.

The next time you shop at Trader Joe’s, look for a bottle of the brand’s French Vinaigrette with Shallots tucked away in the aisles.

Trader Joe’s French Vinaigrette is made with red wine vinegar, Dijon mustard, and shallots. It has a tangy yet sweet flavor, thanks to the balance of acid and alliums. An 11.83-ounce bottle costs just $1.99.

The brand claims this French Vinaigrette “offers from-scratch flavor without the hassle that typically comes with homemade preparation,” and fans wholeheartedly agree. When Trader Joe’s shared a recipe for a blood orange, fennel, and feta salad using the dressing, one user commented, “This looks delicious,” while another said, “This salad dressing is so good, love it!”

This dressing from Trader Joe’s is versatile enough to elevate other dishes beyond salads. For example, you can drizzle it over roasted chicken or use it as a marinade for grilled steak. It also adds a burst of flavor to any wrap or sandwich (you’ll want to use a hearty bread that can withstand its sauciness, of course!).

Some social media users who weren’t fans of this dressing noted that they wished it had different ingredients. “I picked it up at TJ’s today, saw canola oil, and put it back,” one user commented on a post shared by @traderjoesaficionado, an Instagram creator who highlights the latest finds at Trader Joe’s.

So whether you pick up this pre-made French Vinaigrette from Trader Joe’s or make your own at home using your favorite oil, the nice part about this zesty yet sweet dressing is that it will add loads of flavor to your everyday dishes.
