Trader Joe’s Just Brought Back Its Most Beloved $3 Cookies and People Are Buying 4 Boxes at a Time

It’s no secret that Trader Joe’s Joe-Joe’s are one of the best treats the grocer has to offer. As a dupe for Oreos, the sandwich cookies are delicious in the original form (or its gluten-free counterpart), but the seasonal flavors are what really take the dessert up a notch, like peppermint or chocolate peanut butter. One fan-favorite flavor has just been restocked that has turned Trader Joe’s shoppers into legit Cookie Monsters.

Instagrammer @traderjoesobsessed, shared the news that Cinnamon Bun Inspired Joe Joe’s are finally back. Swapping out the chocolate cookies for graham cracker cookies (dusted with sweet cinnamon sugar, no less), the sandwich is filled with the standard Joe-Joe’s vanilla creme. The cinnamon from the cookie and the sweet vanilla flavor will remind you of enjoying a warm frosted cinnamon roll. Does it get much better than that?! We think not.

“Remember the last time you had a cinnamon bun?” writes Trader Joe’s on their website. “Perhaps it was at a coffee shop, a local bakery, or fresh from your very own oven. It’s a profound experience, diving into all that soft, sweet, spiraling dough, aromatic cinnamon spice, and luxuriously creamy frosting—inspirational, even.”

And we couldn’t agree more. Dunk these cookies in your favorite milk of choice or pair with coffee or tea for a delicious treat when you need a little pick-me-up. These would also be super tasty crushed up as an ice cream topping for sundae night.

Each box is retailing for $3.49 and since these were only available for a limited time the last round, you may want to grab a couple boxes when you see them. Unfortunately, this flavor does contain wheat, but our gluten-free friends can still enjoy the Gluten-Free Joe Joe’s Chocolate Vanilla Creme Sandwich Cookies that are just as delicious, if not better, than the regular version.
