There’s no hiding the fact that we love Trader Joe’s. The California-based grocery store chain carries everything from fresh produce to frozen entrees, with bonus items like fresh flowers, greeting cards, and beer, but did you know that there are also handy home items tucked into store shelves?

1. Succulent Garden, $8

The fresh flower section at Trader Joe’s has no shortage of colorful bouquets to dress up your table , and there are also potted plants that make a lovely accent to any space (and a great gift!). This succulent garden is watered as needed (when the soil is dry) and should be kept in direct sunlight.

2. Waxed Cotton Food Wrap, $9

These eco-friendly washable and reusable food wraps can be used in place of plastic wrap and come in a variety of colors.

3. Cotton Kitchen Towels, $6 for three

Made with 100% cotton, these traditional fouta from Tunisia are woven on large looms and hand-finished. They are very absorbent and become softer with each wash. They’re sold in sets of three in various colors.

4. Lavender Tea Tree Liquid Dish Soap, $3

A USDA-certified biobased product, TJ’s liquid dish soap is made with a biodegradable formula that cuts through grease and grime but is gentle on skin.

5. Scented Candle, $4

Trader Joe’s candle scents are seasonal, but they’re always hand poured and have an estimated 55-hour burn time. They’re a natural coconut-soy wax blend and always come in the best scents.
