You can always rely on Trader Joe’s to introduce an exciting new snack that will have shoppers rushing to stores. But, you can’t count on the popular grocery chain to keep that treat in stock for long.

A few years ago, Trader Joe’s introduced its loyal fans to Butter Toffee Pretzels, a snack perfect for any occasion — whether it’s late night, outdoors on a hike, or a party.

The popular snack consists of salty mini pretzels coated in buttery toffee, which hardens over time to create a crunchy treat. “It’s warming, it’s nostalgic, and it’s ever-present. The sweetness of the toffee hits soon after as it coats your tongue. It’s an interesting mix with the butter, but it’s absolutely delicious,” said a Kitchn writer in a review last year.

Butter Toffee Pretzels are just one of the few relaunches Trader Joe’s is implementing this year. The grocery store recently restocked its shelves with Mini Spicy Pumpkin Samosas and Maple and Sea Salt Kettle Corn, but they’re seasonal, so these snacks won’t be available for long. Last year, shoppers couldn’t stop posting about the Butter Toffee Pretzels on TikTok, which only increased the snack’s hype.

“I have been influenced,” one TikTok user admitted while sharing a review on the seasonal pretzels. “Woah, these are delicious,” the creator concluded after tasting them.

Other shoppers raced to the comments on this review to share their thoughts on the popular snack. One person commented, “I just bought those the other day, and I love them.” Another user called out, “I ate half a bag at a party.”

If you’re a serial snacker, you’ll definitely want to try these Butter Toffee Pretzels (if you haven’t already). Since they’re a seasonal treat, they won’t be around for long. If you miss out this year, you’ll have to wait until next season for another chance to grab a pack.
