If you’re a regular at Trader Joe’s, you know that every visit will yield you at least one new item in your shopping bag. Over the years, the national grocery chain has pretty much made it their bread and butter to offer their own versions of some of our favorite meals and ingredients, as well as some pretty wild concoctions we’ve never seen before. With fall quickly approaching, it seems as though it’s business as usual over at TJ’s, with the return of their Apple & Pumpkin Hand Pies, and the countless “little luxuries” available throughout the store for $5 or less.

Just in time for the cooler weather, Trader Joe’s just dropped a $3 Broccoli & Cheddar Cheese Quiche. Originally spotted by Shannon over at Trader Joe’s Obsessed, this personal sized quiche has a rich, buttery crust filled with fluffy eggs, a combination of mild and sharp-cheddar cheese, and chunks of broccoli. The quiche can be prepared using either a microwave on high for 3 minutes, or an oven preheated to 400° for 20-25 minutes. No matter which way you prepare it, it pairs perfectly with a little onion, garlic, salt, and black pepper on top.

In her post, Shannon mentions how “the Broccoli & Cheddar Quiche is pretty good,” but that it could use more broccoli and a little less salt. She continued to point out how she liked the crust, so much so that she bought two. After comparing the results of microwaving versus baking in the oven, Shannon admitted that she “preferred the baked one” over the microwaved version.

If a good quiche is your jam, then this one seems to be worth a buy. But before you head over to your local TJ’s to stock up, be sure to check out this list of can’t-miss TJ’s groceries for some more tasty additions to your shopping list.
