Tom Hanks Is Releasing His Own Line of Coffee and All Profits Will Be Donated to Support Veterans
While every celebrity under the sun is dropping their tequila or wine brand, in true Tom Hanks fashion, the Pinocchio star is launching a coffee line with a sweet initiative: to help veterans.
As the actor has dedicated much of his career to non-fiction entertainment — including films and television projects highlighting American history — his coffee line, Hanx For Our Troops, will be donating 100 percent of all profits to foundations supporting the veteran community. The coffee and its mission to help a community in need doesn’t come as a surprise from who some call the nicest guy in Hollywood.
The coffee — which will be ready to ship in early December — will be available as coffee grounds, coffee pods, and coffee sticks. And will come in three blends: First Class Joe, available in medium and dark versions, Sgt. Peppermint, and Tom’s Morning Magic Blend.
“At Hanx, we’re on a mission to do good. We honor the patriotism and service of our veterans and their families,” the Hanx website reads. Besides selling coffee, the site also lists other brands owned or founded by veterans — or those that are doing good for the veteran community — and highlights stories of individuals from said community.
Whether you’re a fan of coffee, Tom Hanks, or helping people, you can check out Hanx for Our Troops and order here with prices ranging from $16 per coffee bag to $75 per 100-count coffee pods or sticks. And if you do love coffee, this space-saving solution will revolutionize any coffee lover’s kitchen.
