We Found a Great Dupe for Instagram’s Favorite (Sold-Out!) Mugs

Back in January Instagram was momentarily agog over Target’s new collection of clear, borosilicate mugs in an array of pretty shades. There were many “OMG!” and “I need them!” and “These are gonna sell out fast!” comments, and … they were exactly right. The mugs did sell out out, have not been restocked, and are currently no where to be found on Target’s website.

But don’t despair, oh fellow parent! If you, too, would appreciate a gentle pastel color with your morning tea or coffee, I’m happy to say that there’s a pretty good dupe of these mugs available right now.

The Sabine Tinted Glass Mug from Urban Outfitters ($16 per mug or 4 mugs for $60) is made from borosilicate glass and also comes in four lovely pastel shades! It’s food-safe (given it’s a mug, I would certainly hope so, UO!), dishwasher-safe, and microwave-safe — the latter of which is particularly important because (let’s be honest) the last thing I need is a mug I can’t put in the microwave after the inevitable moment I set it down to go parent something, somewhere in my house and return to it two hours later.

Get ’em while you can, before they sell out, too!
