Tia Mowry Released a New Cookware Line, and Meal Time Just Got a Little Spicier

Partnering with kitchenware supplier Gibson, actress Tia Mowry once again proves there’s no place more fun than the kitchen as she launches her new cookware line — Spice by Tia Mowry.

From dinner plates so vibrant, your guests will think it’s décor (hello, bright florals) to potluck essentials like a roaster pan with its own carrier, this cheerful launch ticks all the “yes, please” boxes for kitchen tools and gadgets, cookware and bakeware, storage and serveware, dinnerware and drinkware. 

“I like to eat good food and have fun while doing it, so I wanted to make something bright and colorful to spice up your kitchen,” the actress said on an Instagram post announcing the collection’s drop.

The mission of Tia’s  new line is “to create a playful and multi-functional line that provides people with the tools to create healthy, comforting meals, quickly and easily.” One look at the gorgeous Savory Saffron 12-Piece Dinner Set or the Cinnamon Twist Melamine Trays and we’re hooked. Function will meet fun with gorgeous details on the block knife set and the stay-cool curvy handle of the Nonstick Ceramic 14-Inch Charcoal Aluminum Skillet. It’s obvious that Tia has found her calling in the kitchen (we’re still dreaming of her candied bacon BLT).  While the actress first gained recognition for starring opposite her real-life twin Tamera Mowry in the mid-‘90s sitcom Sister, Sister, these days it seems as if her 30-year acting career sits sidecar to her love of food. Tia starred in her Cooking Channel series Tia Mowry at Home from 2015 to 2017, and then in 2017, launched her YouTube series, Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix. She has published several books, including the cookbook Whole New You: How Real Food Transforms Your Life, for a Healthier, More Gorgeous You. 

While her most recently published cookbook, The Quick Fix Kitchen: Easy Recipes and Time-Saving Tips for a Healthier, Stress-Free Life, boasts recipes such as one-pot meals like Spinach Artichoke Pasta Bake and lightened classics like Creamy “Alfredo” Pasta, it also includes tips for organizing and decluttering your home. Perhaps this was Tia’s way of helping you make room for all this gorgeous new cookware. Well played.
