If you have a slow cooker and about five minutes of time to spare for prep work, this simple dinner of Italian-seasoned chicken and potatoes can be yours.

Now that everyone is back in the swing of things after the holiday break, this slow-cooker recipe is a godsend. You can either make it the night before you want to eat it or, if your schedule allows, you can start it in the morning before work or school. You’ll need between four and six hours to cook it fully, so plan accordingly.

With just boneless, skinless chicken breast, chopped potatoes, oil, Italian seasoning blend, garlic powder, and salt and pepper, it really doesn’t get any easier than this. Serve with a side salad or some roasted veggies for color and you’ve got a complete meal!
