This No-Bake Tart Looks Impressive, but Is Secretly Super Simple
My favorite type of dish is one that looks really impressive but is actually super simple to execute. This no-bake cheesecake tart, with three types of berries on top, is the perfect red, white & blue dessert to bring to your 4th of July gathering this year. It will elicit all the oohs and aahs, and no one has to know how easy it was for you to throw together.
Not including the berry topping, this make-ahead tart only calls for five main ingredients: graham crackers, butter, cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract. You simply combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, and press that mixture into a tart pan to create the “crust.” Then you beat the cream cheese, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla together to make the filling. Pour the cream cheese filling into the prepared crust and chill the tart for at least four to six hours (although overnight is fine).
When you’re ready to decorate the top, you start by creating your blueberry star in the center of the tart, then proceed with the strawberry slices on the outer-most edge, and fill in the rest with raspberries.
