Sangria is just about one of the easiest big-batch cocktails you can make for a crowd. If you’re hosting a party, you can’t beat sangria. It’s easy! It’s cheap! It’s delicious! You can make it ahead of time! What more do you need when you’re hosting a party? Sangria knows no season. It’s perfect with white wine and lots of berries in the summer, and with citrus and red wine in the winter. Really, you can’t go wrong.

If you’re looking to branch out from the standard red wine sangria, Pinterest is your friend. There are so many ideas to choose from! But there is one recipe that stands out from the crowd. The most popular sangria recipe on Pinterest won’t disappoint.

To make this sangria you need lemons, apples, strawberries, a bottle of white wine, some light rum, and lemon-lime soda. You essentially chop up all the fruit, add it to a pitcher, pour the rum and wine over the top, and let it sit in the fridge for a few hours. Before you serve, add some lemon-lime soda to the pitcher.

The recipe definitely leans more summery, but hey! Who ever stopped you from eating ice cream when it’s below freezing? You do you.
