Yesterday Apartment Therapy posted this gorgeous house tour from Australia. This Scandinavian-inspired space is minimal, modern, and furnished in a black-and-white palette. There's a lot I could say about this space, but I was most drawn to the kitchen (of course) and these gorgeous lamps that make a big statement in a relatively lackluster space. These lamps turn the kitchen into a warm, inviting space. While initially I assumed they were expensive, I was surprised to learn they are actually available at IKEA.

You can buy one of these bamboo lamps from IKEA for only $60. Considering how much of an impact they can make in a space like the kitchen in this house tour, I'd say that's a pretty good bargain. Each of these lamps are handmade and give any space they are in a warm light due to the bamboo. You can't buy them online, but they are currently available in stores.

I'm personally plagued by the dreaded boob light in my kitchen at home, so these lights seem like a cheap alternative. Do you have one of these in your home? If so, how do you think it affects the space?
