Laura Gummerman, like so many people, wanted a little more storage space in her kitchen. There was a bit of blank wall space just right for a storage solution, but instead of adding a cabinet or open shelves, she decided to make her own hanging storage caddy system! Here's how she did it.
As she illustrates on A Beautiful Mess, the only items required for this project were three metal towel racks, a few metal shower curtain rings, bamboo utensil holders, and a power drill.
Once she'd mounted the towel racks, she just drilled holes into the utensil holders, threaded the curtain ring through the hole, and then hung it up! Voila! So simple, and a pretty great way to store tools and make use of available wall space. We love it!
Have you ever done something like this in your kitchen?
