This Cookbook Was Co-Created by a Computer Algorithm
There’s a new cookbook released today (Cognitive Cooking with Chef Watson) that’s unlike any other cookbook you’ve seen before. It wasn’t written by a food writer, a chef, or a celebrity, but by Watson, the IBM supercomputer.
The combinations of flavors and ingredients in the book were generated by a computer algorithm, then handed over to chefs at the Institute of Culinary Education to turn Watson’s ideas into recipes.
