This Colorful No-Bake Cake Has a Crazy Surprise!
Happy National Cereal Day! How are you celebrating? If your answer is to just pour your favorite cereal into a bowl and eat it with milk, let me stop you right there. I’ve got a way better suggestion: Make this three-layer Fruity Pebbles crispy treat cake.
This cake is fun, whimsical, and, most importantly, delicious. If you don’t want to make it today, promise me you’ll bookmark it; it would be perfect for a kids’ birthday party (or for anyone who is a kid at heart).
The best part about this recipe is that it doesn’t require you to even turn on your oven. That’s right — this is a no-bake cake! It’s essentially just a layered assembly of three large, round crispy treats made with Fruity Pebbles instead of the traditional Rice Krispies.

To make the cake you’ll need three (seven-inch) springform pans that have been greased with butter. Melt butter in a large pot and add mini marshmallows. Once the marshmallows are melted, add in vanilla extract and salt. Finally add the cereal and stir until combined. Divide the cereal mixture evenly among the three pans and press it down until flat. Let the cake layers set for about two hours.
Then all you have to do is stack the layers and lightly frost the outside with vanilla buttercream. Pipe some stars of buttercream on the top and garnish with some Fruity Pebbles to hint at what’s inside.
The most impressive part comes when you cut into the cake to reveal all three colorful layers. It’s downright magical!
