When you combine two of life’s greatest foods — guacamole and spinach-artichoke dip — you’re guaranteed a winning final product. This recipe expertly brings these ingredients together for a vegan dip that makes for a great snack or appetizer at your next party.

Now, let’s get one thing out of the way here: This isn’t the spinach-artichoke dip that you’re used to — there’s no mayo, sour cream, or cream cheese here. It’s a lighter interpretation that’s closer to our creamy avocado pasta than it is to the traditional cheese-laden dip.

But that doesn’t make it any less delicious! All you have to do is blend ripe avocado with olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper, baby spinach, and artichoke hearts together. You’re looking for a generally smooth consistency with a few chunks of artichoke hearts still for texture.

Serve with some pita chips for dipping and you’ve got a perfect snack.
