Temporary tattoos have come a long way. There are some seriously cute tattoos you can buy that actually look pretty chic. With summer underway and more opportunities to show a little skin, it's prime time to display some new body art. That's why I'm so excited about these new tattoos that not only look great but also smell great. That's right! Tattly has created a line of of temporary tattoos, called the Bouquet Garni Set, featuring scented tattoos of four different kinds of herbs: parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme.
The tattoos, which are printed with vegetable-based ink, were created in collaboration with an artist and a fragrance supplier. Specifically, France-based artist Vincent Jeannerot and company Agilex Fragrances, reports Food & Wine.
Jeannerot, who specializes in botanical watercolors and hails from Lyonne, designed the look of the tattoos. Agilex Fragrances, a supplier to scent manufacturers, provided the corresponding scents.
"The top notes include Red Thyme, Italian Bergamot, Sheer White Spice Accord; the middle notes feature Parsley Leaf, Moroccan Rosemary, Wild Sage; and the bottom notes contain White Musk, Clear Musk, and White Sandalwood," reads the website.
A set of eight temporary tattoos (two of each scent) cost $18 and are available on the Tattly website. And if herbs are too earthy for you, know that Tattly has a line of candy temporary tattoos that are scented as well.
