Theodore and Matthew's design style is a mix of "laid back Hamptons and California ease" — which is very much on display in their Hollywood Hills cottage. The whole home is inviting and cozy, but the kitchen is particularly enticing if you're a fan of the open shelving look, because this couple knows how to do it right!
Neatly organized shelves and a minimal color palette — mostly white, wood, and copper — keep the kitchen from feeling too cluttered (the biggest complaint lodged against open shelving kitchens). And despite the abundance of white, keeping things out in the open infuses the space with personality. It adds interest and dimension, with plenty of things to look at and touch. We love it!
