About:
I’m an unabashed home cook, photographer, and Berkeley dweller who has always been obsessed with food – I believe that joy, freshness, and seasonal abundance are the magical combination that makes the best meals. Yummy Supper is my collection of simple, seasonal recipes that happen to be gluten free. Luckily, the world is crowded with a delicious array of ingredients!

Six years ago we had to remove gluten from our kitchen when I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. (We then learned that both of our kids are also gluten-intolerant.) Initially, the omnivore in me was devastated; but before long, this apparent limitation became a motivation to expand our cooking repertoire, become more creative in our approach to eating, and even grow some of our own food. By focusing on the freshest ingredients with simple preparation, we have found ourselves feeling anything but deprived – in fact, we have never eaten so well. Our healthy bellies thank us too.

Cooking doesn’t have to be a chore ~ it’s an accessible pleasure we can all have every day, gluten-free or not.”
