I know what you're probably thinking. Why would you need an automatic popcorn-launcher when you can toss popcorn into your mouth perfectly well on your own? And to that I say: Why wouldn't you want a machine that uses the voice-activated command "Pop!" to shoot a piece of popcorn directly into your mouth? Still don't believe me? See it in action below.
Say the word "pop" to the Popinator and it will locate you based on the sound of your voice, and shoot a piece of popcorn at your mouth. As far as we know, only one prototype of the Popinator exists, at the headquarters of the company Popcorn, Indiana, but the inventors' enthusiasm about the machine's potential — whether as a fun game or as the next logical step in popcorn convenience — has me wondering if we'll see the Popinator on shelves someday soon.
