The best thing about Popsicles? They’re served on a stick! Sticks are fun — way more fun that spoons, forks, and even sporks! So your Popsicles should be just as much fun. None of that cherry and grape nonsense. That’s why we created a trio of totally weird, but cool, Popsicles. These recipes are the Popsicle equivalent of John Cusack in basically every movie from the ’80s. We wouldn’t want our frozen treats any other way and we hope you agree.

Meet your new everyday summer breakfast Popsicle. More often than not, Popsicles are viewed as a dessert or snack type of food, but that’s such a narrow and shortsighted view. My favorite way to eat Popsicles in the summer is actually for breakfast. They’re a great grab-and-go item, they’re cold, and, well, they’re just really fun to eat. This one has peanut butter and banana and is extra special in my heart.

Meet the most imaginative Popsicle of summer 2017. You didn’t know such an award existed for frozen foods? Now you do.

Last summer our Food Editor, Hali Ramdene, told me she had this idea for tomato water popsicles and I kind of lost my mind. Tomato water? What is that even? Tomatoes in Popsicle form? I was intrigued and desperate for a recipe and Hali and her team seriously delivered on this great idea. There’s olive oil, basil, and tomatoes in this savory treat, and you’re missing out if you don’t try the recipe at home.

Meet the trendiest Popsicle in the entire history of the internet. Fine, that might be a bit hyperbolic, but I honestly can’t think of another Popsicle recipe that is suited for the title. Frosé (rosé wine slushies) was “the drink” last summer, and so we went a step further and turned that drink into a boozy Popsicle because it seemed like a natural, delicious progression.
