Rao’s Homemade’s First-Ever Pop-Up Experience Is Coming to NYC Soon, So Get Ready for a Saucy Good Time
Are you the type of person who loves Rao’s Homemade pasta sauce so much, you’ve thought to yourself, “Gosh, I wish they had an entire store just dedicated to all their sauces so I can just shop ’til I drop?” No? Well, after today, you may wonder why you haven’t been.
Authentic Italian pasta sauce maker Rao’s Homemade is taking their beloved brand past your favorite grocery store aisle with a new experience you might love more than the sauce itself: A pop-up marketplace packed with flavor. Set to open on Friday, April 22, in New York City, The Saucery by Rao’s Homemade will be an exclusive three-day event where brand loyalists and inquisitive guests will be able to stock up on all their favorite Rao’s products and be introduced to a few new ones, too.
Although the incentive of receiving 15 percent off of your purchase of any of the items in the Rao’s Homemade portfolio is exciting enough to make you want to be the first in line on opening day, those who pop in to this pop-up will also be able to purchase items from the brand’s Limited Reserve collection — an exclusive line made using only the finest ultra-premium Italian ingredients. Been on the hunt for the White Truffle Marinara? They’ll have that. The Ligurian Olive Oil? You’re in luck because that’ll be there, too. And for the luxe lover, they’ll even be some seriously exclusive merch available for purchase (think: rose gold jewelry and rhinestone-encrusted sauce jars).
But don’t think you can just walk in to the pop-up location in NYC’s Soho neighborhood because you’re just passing by. While admission is free (don’t we love a free event?), all guests are required to sign up for a specified time slot prior to popping in. And although the event isn’t until a few weeks from now, you can actually reserve yourself a spot to visit now by visiting their reservation website.
Not a NYC-resident, but really want to see what this experience is all about? Rao’s has something for you, too. The brand is giving non-New Yorkers a chance to win a trip for two to the Big Apple to visit the new experience and you’ll even get a little spending money for The Saucery ($600, to be exact!). And of course, airfare plus your two-night stay hotel stay will be taken care of. Just enter for your chance to win here!
All in all, this sounds like an event worth checking out, but if you needed just a little more convincing (hey! If you’re this invested, why not keep going?), the brand will be donating 100 percent of all proceeds made at the event to Jersey Cares — a local nonprofit leading change.
The Saucery by Rao’s Homemade will be located at 579 Broadway beginning Friday, April 22, and lasting until Sunday, April 24. Consumers located anywhere in the world can also experience and shop the marketplace virtually beginning April 20 at https://experience.raos.com/virtual-saucery.
