Aren’t these the most beautiful marshmallows you’ve ever seen? I love that pale pink hue they’ve got going on — all thanks to fresh blood orange juice. Grab your candy thermometer and learn how to make your own at home!

Making marshmallows at home really isn’t that difficult. With just a handful of ingredients and a little patience (they have to cool for four hours), you can whip up a batch whenever the mood strikes.

This recipe makes use of in-season blood oranges to give the ‘mallows some color and tang. They’re almost too pretty to eat — almost!
