The Pasta Queen’s Ricotta Balls Are the Best Thing to Come from TikTok

Nadia Caterina Munno, also known as The Pasta Queen on TikTok and Instagram, recently launched a luxury cookware collection in collaboration with Ruffoni, a family-run workshop in the Italian Alps.

In an Instagram post, the famed cook announced the release of the collection, a project that’s been a year in the making. She explained that this “ultimate 7-piece luxury cookware set” was designed and handcrafted in Italy by the master artisans at Ruffoni “to produce the most gorgeous pasta recipes.”

This collaboration has been a long time coming, as Nadia has been collecting and using Ruffoni pots for the past five years. To make this line become a reality, however, all she had to do was hop on a phone call with Giulia Ruffoni — the President of Ruffoni US — and the rest, as they say, is history. “The connection was immediate,” she wrote on her site. “We quickly realized that we shared a deep love for the finer things in life, including quality, practicality, beauty, and above all, a passion for food. It was a match made in heaven, and before that first conversation even ended, we knew we had to do a Ruffoni/Pasta Queen collaboration.”

The Pasta Queen Collection includes various copper pots and pans that are each as exquisite as the recipes Nadia creates in her videos. Caterina, a stockpot with a pasta insert and lid, is inspired by her grandmother and features an 8-quart capacity that’s oven-safe up to 450°F. “Caterina is the queen of The Pasta Queen Collection,” the product description reads. “She is the center of attention that everything revolves around.”

The Pinuccia, on the other hand, is a chef pan with a lid that will become “your go-to for making the most amazing pasta sauces.” Inspired by Nadia’s multi-tasking Auntie Pina, the pan can be used to make risotto, as well as stews, soups, and even vegetables. And, last but not least is Stella — a serving and frying pan that comes equipped with a lid — named after Nadia’s great aunt. She describes Stella as a beautiful shining star, with eye-catching details like a pasta crown on the lid and a leaf detail where the handles meet the pan.

The Pasta Queen’s cookware collection is available for purchase on her website for $2,190 (currently on sale for $1,990). If it’s out of your price range, don’t fret: her 30-second long TikTok cooking tutorials are free to watch and easy to follow.
