It’s April, which means there’s another month of new TV shows and movies coming to a streaming service near you. If you haven’t already binge-watched Ugly Delicious or Nailed It! on Netflix, then you’ve got some catching up to do. And if you did already ride that particularly sweet, sweet wave of food shows, don’t worry — there’s more to look forward to this month.

Coming to Netflix

• Chef’s Table: Pastry (April 13)

This is the most notable new food show (or movie, for that matter) coming out this month. While I’m generally a big fan of the people behind Chef’s Table, they have recently received some well-deserved flack for their choice of people to highlight in the upcoming series. There’s only one woman — Christina Tosi — and she’s the most mainstream pastry chef there is. What gives? We’ll be watching closely.

Coming to Hulu

Worst Cooks in America: Season 8 (April 1)

Get your fill of Anne Burrell with season eight of Worst Cooks in America. In case you’re not familiar with the show, it follows 12 to 16 contestants (or “recruits”) as they learn basic kitchen skills and compete for $25,000.

Coming to Amazon Prime

Nothing new this month.

Coming to HBO

Waitress (April 1)

Kerry Russell stars in this hilarious comedy about a young married waitress who gets pregnant, falls in love with her doctor, and bakes pies along the way. My personal favorite is the “I hate my husband pie” that you see in the trailer. It’s best served cold.
