We all have our favorite grocery stores around town. Maybe it’s the staff, the quality of produce, or the fact that they have daycare. Whatever the reason may be, there’s a good chance you shop at one more than another. The question is, are you shopping the same place everyone else is?

Growing up in Kansas City, Missouri, it wasn’t until I moved away to college that I truly understood that top-tier grocery stores are more regional. It was a whole new world when I realized there were more options than Price Chopper and Hy-Vee.

It’s always frustrating when I hear about the release of a new product that’s only available at a grocery store that isn’t in my town. Maybe someday there will be a street with nothing but grocery stores on it and I can walk right down the row and pick up all my favorite items from each one. I can dream, right?
