One of our family’s biggest considerations when traveling is always breakfast. We have to be able to wake up, eat, and enjoy our first adventure early to beat the crowds. Nothing saves us that time and gets us on the road faster than Hampton by Hilton’s free, hot breakfast. After years of family road trips, we’ve also developed some recipes for making Hampton’s breakfast way more enjoyable than hitting the drive-thru or restaurant.

These Waffle Breakfast Sliders are one of those recipes. Fluffy waffles are stacked with a sweet-and-spicy maple butter and layered with savory sausage! The sliders are easy enough to eat in the car without the mess of free-flowing maple syrup. Our kids are obsessed with the waffle stations at every Hampton location; these include their signature Hampton waffle in both the traditional Vanilla Malt and seasonal flavors, plus multiple waffle makers that the kids can easily fill and cook themselves. The mini waffles are a favorite — and they make a perfect “bun” for these irresistible sliders.

TIP: Our kids like food with a little kick, but if yours aren’t fans of heat, simply omit the hot sauce. The maple butter provides plenty of flavor without it.

You can find butter, breakfast syrup, and hot sauce in the condiments area, plus bowls and spoons for mixing.

The Hampton by Hilton breakfast has everything else you need to make the maple butter — you can find butter, breakfast syrup, and hot sauce in the condiments area, plus bowls and spoons for mixing. And their savory sausage is cooked and ready for your sliders. All in, the recipe takes less than 10 minutes to assemble and is an ideal grab-and-go breakfast that can be eaten before your vacation excursion or en route to your next destination.
