The Easiest Appetizer for Your New Year’s Eve Party
Now that Christmas is behind us, it’s time to switch gears and focus our attention on the next holiday: New Year’s Eve! If you’re throwing a party this year, or have been asked to bring a dish to a party, it doesn’t get much easier than this baked camembert with fresh thyme and pomegranate seeds.
Seriously, this is the simplest “recipe” ever. All you do is cut the rind off the top of a round of camembert and put it back in the circular box it came in. Put that box, with the camembert inside, on a baking sheet. Sprinkle the top of the cheese with fresh thyme, bake until the cheese is gooey, and then finish with pomegranate seeds.
Set the camembert out — still in its box — on a serving platter, with extra pomegranate seeds and plenty of crusty bread for dipping.
