Whitney’s downtown Austin apartment may be a small rental, but that hasn’t stopped her from tweaking the apartment to make it more comfortable and beautiful. What she’s done in her kitchen is the perfect example:

Whitney believes in “filling a home with what you love even if it’s a rental and you don’t know how long you’ll get to be here,” as Apartment Therapy wrote. You can see this philosophy at work in her kitchen. By swapping out the boring cabinet hardware for brass pulls, her plain kitchen suddenly looks a little more luxe.

The good thing about swapping out kitchen hardware? It’s totally renter-friendly. Just keep the old knobs or pulls and swap them when you move out. I love her color choices: the brass, blue, and white feel so crisp and modern.
