With Thanksgiving just a few days away, you're probably in full menu mode — but don't forget about your table! If you're serving up that gourmet meal on your same-ol' table, you're doing it a disservice. Whether this means getting out the "good" dishes (if you have them), using cloth napkins instead of paper ones, or getting some flowers on the table, it's worth making an effort to do all that delicious food justice.
Don't worry, though — you don't have to run a special errand. We scoured Amazon to find these inexpensive (Prime-able) items that'll make your table feel even more special.
1. Brown Kraft Paper Jumbo Roll, $14
There are lots of reasons to love a roll of kraft paper. You can completely customize the size, you can use a single piece as a makeshift runner or tile a few pieces to cover your entire table, you can write directly on a sheet to indicate place settings or identify dishes. And because this roll is 100 feet long, you can get a lot of use out of a single purchase!
2. TOSSWARE Stemmed Vino, $18 for 12
If you don't have matching stemware, consider getting recyclable plastic versions for the big event. You can reuse them (they're hand-wash only) or you can just toss them into the recycling.
3. Artificial Eucalyptus Stems, $22 for six
We're super into eucalyptus these days. You can get a small bundle at Trader Joe's for $3, but you'll have to toss the stems eventually. These can be reused year after year (and between Thanksgivings!). Put some in a vase or just arrange them down the center of your table.
4. Just Artifacts Mercury Glass Votive Candle Holders, $20 for 12
Mix these into your fake eucalyptus leaves and you've got an instant centerpiece. They come in a few colors, all of which are actually perfect for Thanksgiving. They don't come with the actual candles, though, but you can totally get those on Amazon, too (of course.)
5. Sugar & Cloth White and Gold Plastic Disposable Flatware Set, $10 for 36 pieces
This super-cute flatware will look great on the table and cut down on cleanup. Don't want to set the table with disposable stuff (even if it is pretty)? Maybe just set this stuff on your buffet with all the pies and desserts?
6. Cotton Dinner Napkins, $24 for roll of 12
If these dinner napkins don't look like normal dinner napkins to you, that's because they're not. They're cotton but come on a paper towel-like roll and can be washed and reused up to six times. The best part: They'll look as good on your table as regular, more expensive cotton napkins. And they come in 26 fun colors.
7. Thanksgiving Place Cards, $13 for 50
Place cards take the pressure off your guests and give you a little more control over the situation. We love this set because the cards add a playful touch to a table and are sure to last you a few years (unless you're having a massive celebration).
