From the moment I started remixing ramen noodles into gourmet meals and spending hours watching cooking shows as a puny six-year-old, I knew I found a deep passion for food. While I realized — after taking on a two-year high school internship in an award-winning kitchen — that a…read more

You can never have too many jars in your kitchen. These glass storage gems are ideal for preserving dry goods like sugar, flour, and rice. They also come in handy for packing lunch — you can easily fill them with salad, soup, or noodle fixings. You can even use them as cups for smoothies, lattes, or infused water and take them on the go since they usually come with a lid. So when Target released a set with a vintage design, it’s no surprise that shoppers couldn’t get enough of them.

If you take a trip to Target, you’ll spot a set of vintage-inspired jars. The ribbed design on its glass is influenced by the Art Deco movement, which was popular in the 1920s.

The set includes two fluted glass jars, each with a matching wooden lid, and costs $5. These jars are food-safe, but be sure to follow the care instructions — they’re hand-wash only and not microwave-safe.

Last year, TikTok users discovered a similar set in Target’s Dollar Spot, and shoppers couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful they were. One creator even shared the find, calling them “supercute.”

Right now, you can only snag these fluted jars in Target stores. However, if you check out the brand’s website, you’ll spot a similar version from Joanna Gaines’ Hearth & Hand collection. These jars feature the same iconic 1920s ribbed glass design and hold up to 64 ounces, priced at $16.99.

One user gave Gaines’ fluted jar a five-star review, saying, “Very beautiful and functional! The ribbed glass is stunning and feels sturdy.” Another reviewer mentioned, “Perfect size! I wanted something I could use to make a big salad, shake it, eat it, and store it to look pretty.”

Whether you buy the jars from the Hearth & Hand collection or the $2 ones, these vintage-inspired fluted glass containers are likely to sell out quickly at Target. So, if you see them, it’s a good idea to grab them while you can.
