One of my favorite lunches to eat isn’t really a lunch at all; it’s just a bunch of snacks. When lunchtime rolls around, I love to throw a few things on a plate to eat, which seems a whole lot easier when having to prepare and pack a meal for the day. Put together crackers, cheese, meat, veggies, and dip … and lunch is served. So when I discovered a new large lunch box at Target, I was excited because packing “lunch” just got a whole lot easier.

Posted by @targettherapy over on Instagram, Target is now selling a new large bento box container for just $10. They come in blue or sage green color, and feature eight different compartments. Yep, you read that right; eight! Each container has two large compartments, perfect for a sandwich or a variety of fruits and vegetables, two medium compartments for larger snack items like crackers or strawberries, and four smaller compartments for nuts, dried fruit, and sweet treats like chocolate and mini cookies.

These “snackleboxes,” as shoppers love to call it, are made with BPA-free plastic with a matching lid that sports a clear top so you can see all of your gorgeous snacks on display. The container itself is microwave safe (without the lid), but the entire thing is dishwasher safe, making it easy to wash your new bento box when snack time is over.

This container is the perfect thing to have on hand for all of your road trip, beach, and picnic gatherings you’ll be having as the weather gets warmer. This particular bento box container is probably a little too big for a personal lunch, but hey, I’m up for the challenge. However, if you’d rather something personal-size, there are also smaller bento boxes with two compartments for only $5 that come in that same sage green and blue, as well as cream and terracotta orange.

These bento boxes are made by Figmint, a brand that sells gorgeously made kitchen items on Target shelves. They have a variety of other clear and colorful food storage containers, as well as colorful stackable mixing bowl sets with similar matching clear lids for easy storing in your fridge, like that batch of cookie dough!
