When it comes to the general merchandise shopping experience, Target is top-notch. From the courteous and attentive employees to in-store Starbucks locations, and a variety of grocery brands (including tasty store-brand options!), it’s not surprising that many consider Target as their go-to store year-round — especially during the holidays. And as Easter approaches, you might be wondering if the retail giant will be open for guests to purchase any forgotten or last-minute items.

For those that depend on the retailer for their day-to-day needs — even those days that happen to be holidays — Target announced that all of its stores will be closed on Sunday, April 9. While this may disappoint loyal patrons, the store will be open the days preceding Easter and the day after as well. So before the big day, be sure to pick up all your Easter essentials, including the Parker Lane Clear Glass mugs to add some fun and color to your decorations.

In addition to traditional in-store shopping, Target offers many convenient ways to get what you need, such as online (sometimes, even same-day delivery), curbside pickup, and in-store pickup. With so many options to grab your essentials, it’s best to plan now to avoid the crowds and guarantee yourself a stress-free Easter weekend.

If you need a place to pick up items on Easter, however, stores like Walmart and Kroger will be open to satisfy any last-minute needs that may arise. If you’re shopping at Walmart, however, just be sure to note the new changes the company is implementing for single-use bags.
