One of the natural laws of the universe is that it’s impossible to enter a Target and purchase just one thing. Even if your list has exactly one item on it, you will inevitably be lured by the siren song of the dollar section, throwing your whole plan out the window. The same goes for shopping online at the big bullseye. Try as you might to fight it, Target has a powerful pull. Here at Kitchn, we just surrender to its mystical forces: “Take our money, Target!”

These are the fun finds we recently bought at Target.

“My family is obsessed with caddies for organizing art supplies, picnic utensils, and cleaning supplies, but Target usually only carries them in summer. This one is from one of the store’s newest lines, Sun Squad, which we’re also obsessed with.” —Meghan Splawn, Associate Food Editor

“Our house doesn’t have air conditioning — at ALL. Not even window units. (To be fair, it was built in 1750!) So we bought this in hopes that it’ll make the house feel less muggy in the summer. Hopefully it works and I won’t faint at the thought of turning my oven on!” — Lisa Freedman, Lifestyle Director

“I just ordered these blue and white cloth napkins (along with the Mrs. Meyers cleaning concentrate Sheela recommended!). I’ve been meaning to replace our old, worn napkins for a while, and love this classic print because it matches with just about everything.” — Kelli Foster, Associate Food Editor
