These “So Delicious” Chips Taste Just Like My Favorite Pasta Dinner (My New Favorite Snack!)

One of the best parts of my job as a shopping editor is all of the fun new items I’m able to discover. While many people assume this is reserved solely for things like kitchenware (read: appliances, cookware, gadgets), I actually get to test way more than that — including food. Throughout my time at The Kitchn, I’ve shared some pretty awesome food finds, including my go-to cereal, my favorite weeknight dinner find, and the hot dogs I think everyone should try at least once. However, lately, I’m on a new food mission.

Now, I wasn’t sure how I’d like the texture of these chips (after all, I never had puffed pasta before), but they are perfectly light and airy (think a Cheetos puff but somehow lighter). Most importantly, the flavor is incredible. As I tried each bag, my favorite kept getting topped by the last (overall I’d give the W to Cacio e Pepe) and I was impressed by how rich the flavors are. Never once did these chips leave a sad, artificial taste in my mouth. In fact, at times, if I closed my eyes I could swear I had a plate of pasta in front of me. Needless to say, I found the new snack for my pantry.
