A few weeks ago we talked about chairs in the kitchen — we love being able to pull up a hospitable seat for a guest! But some kitchens don’t need chairs because they already have more substantial seating built in: Benches and booths! Here’s a look at a few examples of built-in kitchen seating in real homes.

8 Kristie’s Thirties Tennessee Treasure – An old-fashioned breakfast booth.
9 Hunter’s First Home: An Exercise in DIY – A great built-in bench.
10 Angelique’s Sunlit Breakfast Nook – Maybe the best breakfast nook we’ve ever seen!

I have an eating nook in my kitchen that seriously needs a makeover. These are all inspiring little snippets of ideas! What about you? Do you have a bench or nook in your kitchen?
