Easy Microwave Strawberry Fudge

Classic chocolate fudge requires patience and a candy thermometer, but this strawberry shortcut version is made with just melted white chocolate and a can of strawberry frosting. If you’re worried about it being too sweet, rest assured that the frosting has enough tang to keep things balanced.

After you stir the frosting into the melted white chocolate, you’ll spread the mixture into a parchment-lined baking pan to set in the fridge. Before it sets, top it with sprinkles and your favorite Valentine’s candy to make it even more festive.

Ingredients

  • 1 (12-ounce) bag

    white chocolate chips

  • 1 (16-ounce) can

    strawberry frosting

  • 1/4 cup

    white and pink sprinkles or conversation hearts

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with a parchment paper sling so that excess parchment hangs off 2 sides.

  2. Place 1 bag white chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on HIGH in 30-second bursts, stirring between each burst, until the chocolate is melted, 1 1/2 to 2 minutes total. Add 1 can strawberry frosting and stir to combine. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle with 1/4 cup white and pink sprinkles or conversation hearts.

  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Use the parchment paper to remove the fudge from the pan onto a cutting board. Cut into 2-inch squares.
