Spray three large wax paper sheets with cooking spray.
Whisk flour, sugar, and salt in bowl. Add chilled cut butter and chilled shortening. Break with fingers into pea sized pieces.
Drizzle ice water into the mixture. Stir until dough forms.
Cut the dough into three portions and wrap in the wax paper. Freeze for at least an hour.
Roll out dough between two sheets of wax paper. Transfer dough to pie plate.
Press dough into the plate. Trim the edges. Chill in the fridge.
Prick bottom with fork before baking at 375°F for 18-20 minutes.
Use pie crust with your favorite pie filling.
