Shape ground beef into patties. Press a shallow “dimple” in the middle. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat butter on a skillet and toast the buns until golden brown.
Place burgers on a hot skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes.
Flip the burgers and cook another 3 to 5 minutes.
