There’s no better place for seasonal groceries than Costco.  Here’s my personal top-10 list of the very best groceries to buy this season.

Large Seedless Watermelon, $6.99 each

Not only are these less expensive (by several dollars!) than those sold at my local store, but they're also sweeter and juicy more too.

Kirkland Signature Gourmet Chocolate Chunk Cookies, $9.99

These chewy, chocolatey cookies are delicious straight from the package, and make for easy ice cream sandwiches.

Kirkland Signature Organic Ground Beef, $19.89

Stock up on organic ground beef for a fraction of the price. You can easily freeze them in portions or as patties.

Kirkland Signature Organic Lemonade, $6.39

There's nothing more refreshing than an ice-cold lemonade on a hot summer day. This one is the perfect balance of sweet and sour.

Garofalo Organic Pasta Variety Pack, $10.79

This pack is on my list all year, but I make sure to never run out in the summer for my favorite potluck recipe: pasta salad.

Sweet Baby Ray’s Barbecue Sauce, $6.79

Try it as a stand-in for pizza sauce or slathered on meatballs, simmered with beans, and tossed with tofu.

McCormick’s Montreal Steak Seasoning, $7.99

Nothing quite matches the peppery bite of this blend. With it, your burgers, steaks, and shrimp will be seasoned to perfection.

Limes, $6.99

I’ll use limes at breakfast squeezed over breakfast tacos or brighten up a smoothie. For dinner it’s the main ingredient in my favorite grilled chicken recipe.

Kirkland Signature Beef Hot Dogs, $15.59

Costco is famous for its $1.50 food court hot dog. Did you know you can buy the same dogs to cook at home? Yup, you’re welcome.

Made Good Granola Minis, $11.99

These snacks come in two varieties: chocolate chip and mixed berry. They're nut-free so that makes it safer to share with friends.
