Cook’s Companion

A Cook’s Companion is Brooklyn’s answer to the Broadway Panhandler. With its crowded, well-organized aisles stacked high with items for both the professional cook, and the mere enthusiast, A Cook’s Companion has something for everyone.

The prices are reasonable (if not downright low: we saw a red Mundial 3-knife set, including 7″ Santoku with granton edge, for about $80!), and the staff is friendly and actually knowledgeable about cooking. It’s no wonder that this year A Cook’s Companion was voted best overall cookware store in New York City by Zagat Marketplace.

Great cookware at great prices with knowledgeable staff? Yet another reason to move to Brooklyn.
