In my kitchen, there’s no piece of bakeware more versatile than my Staub baking dishes. There’s little that they can do, and to label them as “bakeware” would be a disservice. In fact, I have two sets so far, and I’ve got my eyes on a few more — and just in time too, because Staub’s Memorial Day sale has started with discounts up to 60% off its iconic ceramic bakeware

What’s So Great About Staub’s Baking Dishes?

As far as versatility goes, Staub’s baking dishes take the cake — and then some. They’re oven- and broiler-safe up to 572°F, and safe for the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. The scratch-resistant interior and exterior is hardy with a shiny finish, and it comes in four timeless colors, including a match-with-anything white.

I have a two-piece set of these oval dishes as well as a three-piece set of rectangular ones, but there are so many to choose from. If you bake often, this set comes with a ruffled pie dish, or if you’re bringing something to a potluck, this covered dish looks super transport-friendly, or if you’re looking for max impact, this large matte black oval dish is definitely going to stand out on your kitchen table. No matter the set size, shape, or even dish size you get, they’re always going to be more useful, durable, and versatile than you’d expect.

I use mine at least once a week to roast vegetables and chicken, bake brownies, marinate meat and seafood, and even just as serveware — seriously, they’re the underrated heroes in my kitchen. When fall comes around, these dishes hold it down in the oven for baked pasta and casseroles, and during the holidays, there’s almost no point in even putting them away in my cabinets — they get used every weekend when family and friends come over.

Every single piece of Staub bakeware has sturdy, helpful handles for easier mobility and stress-free maneuverability from oven to table — even the pie dish! They also prevent you from accidentally making a crater on the top of a perfectly baked pie or casserole. The handles are easy to grip with tiny silicone mitts (a recent find that Executive Lifestyle Editor, Charli Penn, and I use almost nightly) and thick oven mitts alike. Best of all, the dishes are still surprisingly easy to store, nestling nicely without scratching the interior.

My Staub bakeware has been a smart kitchen investment, and since they’re on major sale for Memorial Day, you bet I’m taking advantage of the discounts before they sell out.
