Star-Spangled Sangria for July 4th

Star-Spangled Sangria for July 4th

Here a sweet and clever idea for your July 4th drinks: star-spangled punch! This comes from a big 4th of July bash that Jenny Hobick threw last year; I love her styling and photos. And the sangria is especially great — want to see how she created those red stars?

They're apple cut-outs! She sliced apples and cut them into star shapes with a cookie cutter. Between these and a layer of blueberries in the simple peach and white wine sangria, this is a very festive red, white, and blue punch.

Read on for the recipe, and to see more of Jenny's good ideas for dressing up a classy 4th of July party.
