Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday. We gather with those we love and eat huge feasts of turkey and sides. But it’s also an exhausting holiday as tons of shopping and cooking goes into making the dinner the best it can be. Between buying those last-minute Thanksgiving dinner ingredients and setting the table, we could really use some coffee. But will Starbucks Thanksgiving hours work with our need for a last-minute latte?

What Are Starbucks’ Thanksgiving Hours?

While Starbucks hours do vary by location — and this is especially true for those located within malls and shopping centers — most Starbucks are open on Thanksgiving.

If a Starbucks is inside a mall or another sort of retail building that itself is closed on Thanksgiving, you may be out of luck. Also, specific locations may close early or open late. There’s also the possibility a location may simply not be able to get enough staff to agree to come in on a holiday, according to a Reddit thread. Confusing, yes, but in great likelihood, you will be able to get that latte fix; you’ll just want to check your local store’s hours on their website or app store locator before venturing out on that busy day.

Starbucks is generally open on most holidays, which makes all of us happy as we go around doing our errands in the festive surroundings, enjoying our seasonal beverages. That means they’ll also be open regular hours Black Friday, which is great news for all of us who are going to need that early morning caffeine jolt before shopping for all those doorbuster deals.

There are so many fun Starbucks beverages to enjoy during the holiday season, like the Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, and for those who don’t drink dairy, the Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte. And if you pick up that holiday Starbucks beverage to-go, you may want to have some extra fun by spiking it!
